If the Presidio Law Group attempts to expunge your criminal conviction and does not succeed, we will refund your money. Every penny, no questions asked.

I was convicted of a crime. Is there any way to clear my record?

If you have completed your probation sentence and are not facing any new charges, California Penal Code §1203.4 allows you to have your felony or misdemeanor conviction expunged.

In certain cases, even if you are on probation, we may be able to file a motion to terminate your probation and then clear your record.

What if I was convicted of a felony?

If your felony is a “wobbler” (a crime which may have been filed as a misdemeanor or felony by the District Attorney), we can also have your conviction reduced to a misdemeanor before getting it expunged.

What are the benefits of clearing my record?

Expungement of your record will allow you to legally say you haven’t been convicted of a crime.* Expungement will allow you to put past mistakes behind you and:

  • Tell employers that you have not been convicted of a crime
  • Become eligible for more types of professional licenses and certificates
  • Tell friends and family that you have not been convicted of a crime
  • Stop being fearful or embarrassed when someone does a background check on you.

How much will it cost?

Our fees are reasonable and a successful clearance of your record is guaranteed, or we will refund your money back to you.

* An expungement does not, however, relieve the defendant of the obligation to disclose the conviction in response to any direct question contained in any questionnaire or application for public office, for licensure by any state or local agency, or for contracting with the California State Lottery.
